The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod’s Northern Illinois District is 210 congregations plus new missions and satellite sites that span 24 counties in the northern one-third of Illinois. The district has an emphasis on New Starts…New Believers, which expands and strengthens the caring presence and Gospel ministry of Lutheran congregations and schools in their communities.

The Senior Pastor is to provide spiritual and pastoral leadership to the membership of Gospel Lutheran Church. Served as the chief administrator of the congregation so that it might fulfill its mission and purpose as the body of Christ. It was my role to preach, teach, and administer the Sacraments and give primary leadership in the ministries of Worship, Administration, Stewardship, and Outreach.
